Shalom! My name is Adam Pastor

Welcome to ADONI MESSIAH which means
"My Lord Messiah" -
a fitting epithet to who Jesus (or Yeshua) is!

Here, I attempt to present the Apostolic Truths according to the Scriptures, that there is
One GOD, the Father, namely, YAHWEH,
and One Lord, GOD's only begotten Son,
Yeshua the Messiah.

And that one day YAHWEH will send His Son back to Earth to inaugurate the Everlasting Kingdom of GOD

Enjoy!

Differences Between God and Jesus by Nelvan Evans

Differences Between God and Jesus
by Nelvan Evans, California

GOD is immortal — Jesus, the Son of God, died

1 Timothy 1:17 To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever.
[1 Timothy 6:1who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see. To him be honor and eternal dominion. Amen.  ESV]
1 Corinthians 15:3 Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures
Romans 5:10 We were reconciled to God through the death of His Son.

God is self-sufficient — Jesus is GOD-dependent

Acts 2:36 Therefore let the entire house of Israel know with certainty that God has made him both Lord and Messiah, this Jesus whom you crucified.
Acts 5:31 God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior that he might give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
Acts 2:33 Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this that you both see and hear.
John 17:2 since you have given him authority over all people, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him.
John 5:27 and he has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of man.
Romans 2:16 on the day when, according to my gospel, God, through Jesus Christ, will judge the secret thoughts of all.
2 Corinthians 13:4 For he was crucified in weakness, but lives by the power of God. For we are weak in him, but in dealing with you we will live with him by the power of God.
John 5:22 The Father judges no one but has given all judgment to the Son

God is eternal — Jesus is begotten (=brought into existence)

Galatians 4:4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law.
Matthew 1:1 An account of the genealogy [origin] of Jesus the Messiah, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
Luke 1:31 And now, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you will name him Jesus. Luke 1:32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his ancestor David.
...
1 John 5:1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and whoever loves the Father loves the child begotten of Him

GOD is invisible — Jesus is visible

John 1:18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
1 Timothy 1:17 To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever.
...

GOD is holy — Jesus became sin for us

1 Peter 1:15-16 As He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, for it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”
Leviticus 11:44 For I am YAHWEH your God; sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy.
2 Corinthians 5:21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

God is all-knowing — Jesus is not

Job 21:22 Will any teach God knowledge, seeing that he judges those that are on high?
Psalm 147:4 He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name.
Acts 1:7 Jesus replied, “It is not for you to know the times or periods that the Father has set by his own authority.”
Mark 13:32 “But of that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.”
Mark 5:31 And his disciples said to him, “You see the crowd pressing in on you; how can you say, ‘Who touched me?’” (Jesus did not know who had touched him, Luke 8:45)
Luke 2:40 The child continued to grow and become strong, increasing in wisdom; and the grace of God was upon him.
Luke 2:52 And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

Jesus is a man — GOD is not

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent; has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
...
Acts 2:22 “Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through him in your midst, just as you yourselves know.”
Luke 4:18 “The Spirit of YAHWEH is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.”
Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power; how he went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him
Matthew 12:18 “Here is my servant, whom I have chosen, my beloved, with whom my soul is well pleased. I will put my Spirit upon him, and he will proclaim justice to the Gentiles.”
1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men,
the man Christ Jesus

Jesus prays to his GOD and Father

Matthew 27:46 And about three o’clock Jesus cried with a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
Matthew 6:9 “Pray then in this way: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. ...

GOD cannot be tempted — Jesus was tempted

James 1:13 No one, when tempted, should say, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil and he himself tempts no one.
Luke 4:1-2 Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing at all during those days, and when they were over, he was famished.

GOD is the Almighty — Jesus is the Son of GOD, servant, sent, appointed, anointed, approved, prophet, priest, and king of David’s throne

John 20:21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”
1 Corinthians 15:20-28 But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have died. For since death came through a human being, the resurrection of the dead has also come through a human being; for as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ. But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ. Then comes the end, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father, after he has destroyed every ruler and every authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. For “God has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “All things are put in subjection,” it is plain that this does not include the one who put all things in subjection under him. When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to the one who put all things in subjection under him, so that God may be all in all

GOD has no God — Jesus has a God

2 Corinthians 11:31 The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, He who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying.
Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.
1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy he has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
John 20:17 Jesus said to her, “Do not hold on to me, because I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
[Revelation 3:12 The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name. ESV]

What if? by Nelvan Evans

What if? by Nelvan Evans, California

  • What if I told you that Jesus is a man?
  • What if I told you that the “word of God” is what God spoke?
  • What if I told you that people have been exiled for the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ?
  • What if I told you that others have been killed for the word of God and more will be killed?
  • What if I told you that Jesus is the first person ever to be resurrected to immortality?
  • What if I told you that Jesus is God’s Lamb?
  • What if I told you that the one called “who is, and who was, and who is to come” is
    God Almighty, not Jesus?
  • What if I told you that God will avenge those who have been killed for His word as well as those yet to be killed?
  • What if I told you that God will execute judgment through Jesus?
  • What if I told you that Jesus is coming again and every eye will see him?
  • What if I told you that Jesus will reward overcomers by making them pillars in the temple of his God?
  • What if I told you Jesus has a God?
  • What if I told you Jesus’ God will establish a new heaven and earth?
  • What if I told you that Jesus’ God will eventually come to dwell with His people?
  • What if I told you that our God, the God of Christians, is the same God that Jesus has? What if I told you that this same God Himself will wipe away all tears?
  • And what if I told you that God revealed all this to Jesus?
You can find these truths in the book of Revelation.
