A person wrote to me who would defend the trinity doctrine. After reading many posts I have shared, this person went back and studied the scriptures and came to the conclusion that the trinity doctrine is a lie.
One of my statements that got the person really thinking was when I posted the following:
Like the person above, what got me to seriously investigate this matter was when I saw the picture to the left and this statement below when Jesus said to Peter,
“Whom do men say that I am?” Did Peter answer Jesus with this response?
Peter’s simple answer was,
Thou art Christ, THE SON of the living God.
And how did Jesus respond to Peter?
Jesus answered and said to him, You are blessed, Simon, son of Jonah, for flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, but My Father in Heaven. Mat 16:17
A person wrote a comment in part which she said concerning my last post
(If Jesus is God, What Does this Say About God?),
It is with love I want express caution by saying “Be careful.” Honestly, at first glance, this post makes me shudder. While the Holy Spirit has given me much new revelation (new to me) that is completely contrary to what is preached and believed as truth in much of the church today, in my opinion it is a bold statement to say that Jesus is not God. No, He is not the Father, and no, He is not the Spirit but John 1:1-3 does say “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were created through Him, and apart from Him, not one thing was created that has been created.”
It is true and a bold statement to say that Jesus is not God. Why? Because that is what has been ingrained in our minds and taught for centuries and it is the belief of just about all mainstream Christianity as we know it today. It is not Bible truth, and one would be surprised to find out how many trinitarian scholars and commentators would admit that this teaching cannot be found in the Bible, even by the Catholic Church itself! But yet many are deceived to think the trinity teaching is the total absolute truth! We have been told a lie for so long that once we do get a grip of the truth, that that truth is said to be the lie! One’s salvation hangs in the balance whether one accepts the trinity doctrine or rejects it. Where is that ever stated in scripture?
Hitler’s propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbel, once said,
This is true of the trinity doctrine. Many people have embraced the lie that it is hard to shake it loose. For instance, even though the person admits about Jesus, “No, He is not the Father, and no, He is not the Spirit but John 1:1-3 does say…”
Notice we always get the word BUT after saying what is true and then turn around to make it as though it isn’t true to defend what we believe is true and not true at the same time! This is the result confusion of the trinity doctrine – to take a few passages and read into them what it does not say because of a theory that was accepted 400 years AFTER Christ.
Jesus is not God. Does this mean that we degrade Jesus? Not at all! God the Father has given him all authority and Jesus spoke concerning the Father, to make us realize who the Father and only true God is and the Father’s plan for us.
The person continued to write,
What “god” do you love and obey? The true God of the Bible or are you in love with the god of the trinity?
Many have been fed the lie that God is a trinity, three persons in one essence/being. This being is referred to as the one what, rather than who He is.
Scriptures declare that God is one, the Father of the lord Jesus, the Messiah
(Rom 15.6; 2 Cor 1.3; 11.31; Eph 1.3; 1 Pe 1.3; Rev 1.6.)
As someone has well stated,
“And this is everlasting life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.” John 17:3
The following video deals with John 1:1-3.
All I ask is that we seek the Scriptures that will lead us to know who is the only true God and concerning His Son, the human Messiah whom He has anointed and speaks through.

What God Do You Love and Obey?
One of my statements that got the person really thinking was when I posted the following:
Hmm. The Bible teaches the Trinity? Let’s see how John 3:16 would read if we replace God with Trinity.
“For THE TRINITY so loved the world that THE TRINITY gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
That didn’t sound right. Let me try it again and this time I will replace God with Jesus since the Trinitarian belief is that Jesus is God.
“For JESUS so loved the world that JESUS gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Hmm. That doesn’t seem to work. Let me try John 1:1
“In the beginning was THE TRINITY, and THE TRINITY was with TRINITY, and THE TRINITY was TRINITY.”
Scratch that. Let me replace it with Jesus.
“In the beginning was THE JESUS, and THE JESUS was with JESUS, and THE JESUS was JESUS.”
Like the person above, what got me to seriously investigate this matter was when I saw the picture to the left and this statement below when Jesus said to Peter,
“Whom do men say that I am?” Did Peter answer Jesus with this response?
“Thou are the Logos, existing in the Father as His rationality and then, by an act of His will, being generated, in consideration of the various functions by which God is related to his creation, but only on the fact that Scripture speaks of a Father, and a Son, and a Holy Spirit, each member of the Trinity being coequal with every other member, and each acting inseparably with and interpenetrating every other member, with only an economic subordination within God, but causing no division which would make the substance no longer simple.”
And Jesus answering, said, “What?”
Mat 16:17

“If you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth.”
This is true of the trinity doctrine. Many people have embraced the lie that it is hard to shake it loose. For instance, even though the person admits about Jesus, “No, He is not the Father, and no, He is not the Spirit but John 1:1-3 does say…”

The person continued to write,
Believers ought to be concerned with one thing first and foremost: to be in relationship, intimate relationship, with the One true God,And how is this possible when mainline Christianity is denying the very words of Christ himself who tells us who is the only true God (John 17:3)? They keep repeating the lie that Jesus is that one true God when God the Father, Jesus, nor his disciples ever taught this! They are not believing the one true God of the Bible, but rather the trinity god made up by man. They must twist a few passages of scriptures to fit this theory. Jesus never taught the trinity doctrine, he never taught that there are three separate persons in one God, making them one being, he never taught that he and God were of the same substance or essence, he never taught that he is equal with God, he never taught that he was 100% man and 100% God, he never taught that he was “God the Son,” he never taught that he was the only true God, he never even taught that he was the original creator of heaven and earth and mankind! (Matt. 19:4) Jesus did not preexist before he was born! The scriptures says he was begotten, and each one must ask, “When was he begotten?” In eternity? How? How can an eternal son of God be begotten? Jesus has a “genesis” and this can be found in Matthew and Luke’s writings. Jesus did not literally exist as a person before he was born, but he was in the mind of God – in God’s plan/purpose as was the corporate Church (which we did not yet exist). God alone is the one who created the original universe by Himself! (Isa. 44:24)
What “god” do you love and obey? The true God of the Bible or are you in love with the god of the trinity?

As someone has well stated,
Jesus would be highly upset that his quotation of Deut. 6:4 in Mark 12:29 is not passionately quoted and adhered to by his followers. Some Christians have the wrong “P” by studying under Plato, they should instead study under the Holy Prophets…Some Christians have the wrong ” A” by studying under Athanasius, they should instead study under the Apostles. Some Christians have the wrong ” C” by obeying Constantine’s Creed, they should instead obey Christ's Creed, the Father is greater than all (including himself in John 14:28).Is anyone prepared to answer Yahweh and his son on judgment day? (2 Cor. 5:10) How you will you explain that you went against direct quotations from Yahweh and his son regarding who God is? (Deuteronomy 5:7;6:4; Isaiah 42:8; Zechariah 14:9; Mark 12:29; 1 Corinthians 8:6)“And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:” Mark 12:29
