God Cannot Be Tempted, But Jesus was Tempted in Every Way, as we are
The Bible clearly tells us that Jesus was tempted, and was tempted in every way like we are. Since the Bible teaches that God cannot be tempted, if Jesus is God, then Jesus was not truly tempted. To be tempted means there is the possibility that evil may be chosen, which is impossible for God.
“… for God cannot be tempted by evil”.
“For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.”
… for forty days, being tempted by the devil.
“and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.”
“God, who alone possesses immortality…”
Pilate wondered if He was dead by this time, and summoning the centurion, he questioned him as to whether He was already dead. And ascertaining this from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph.
For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance; that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures.
Romans 5:10

I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.
